Uganda offers one of the world’s most enjoyable white-water rafting. This is the river Nile, one of the world’s longest rivers, and without doubt the longest and most fascinating on the African continent. The rafting activity can be done on a half day or the whole day program.
For mountain hikers and climbers as well as for the botanists, Uganda offers the greatest experiences, opportunities as well as challenges. The hike on the Rwenzori Mountains leads one to the snowcapped Margareta peak, at the elevation of 5,109 Meters above sea level. On this 6 day hike, botanists have a chance of treading grounds covered by primary vegetation including the lobelia forest. Other mountains to hike include Mount Elgon (3 days), Mt. Muhabura (1 day) and Mt. Sabyinyo (1 Day)
